This weekend I had the honor of being in Ardmore Oklahoma with Dr. Henry Ramirez who developed the FemTite procedure using Inmode’s newest platform Aviva. Labiaplasty while sought after by many patients has always been one of my least favorite procedures due to the pain associated with healing, and the potential for scaring or other unpleasant side effects. I have often encouraged women to avoid this procedure in the past.  I am so excited about Aviva. The small handpiece called accutite is perfect for contouring the labia using gentle heat and creating tissue contraction without risk of scaring and substantially less discomfort. There is little associated downtime and results very near that of a large surgery. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to be one of the first in the country to train on this procedure, and I can’t wait to get back and share this new cutting edge technology with my patients.
