Meet Kimberly Austin

 
Kimberly Austin is a certified Nurse Practitioner who works in close collaboration with Dr. Kessler and Dr. Voige. Kim has been in the nursing field for over 17 years and has had the pleasure of obtaining experience in a variety of settings. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2007, where she graduated with honors. After a short break from school she then went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University where she completed a Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2016. She holds certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has also obtained certification as RN first assistant and frequently assists Dr. Kessler and Dr. Voige in the OR which she has greatly enjoyed.

Kim lives in a small rural community near Hillsboro Texas. She is married and together she and her husband Ben have 4 children, 3 daughters and 1 son (ages 18, 15, 10, and 3 respectively). She and her family enjoy watching their daughters play softball and volleyball, as well as camping and fishing in their time together.

Kim enjoys serving the community as a Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Lacy Kessler in a women’s health setting. She is excited about the recent new growth taking place in the practice and grateful to be a part of such a great group of providers.
